“Attica NOW”
A Buffalo Based Prison Reform Group

The materials in this collection were secured for microfilming from “Attica NOW!” a prison reform collective that was headquartered (at the time) at 1528 Jefferson Avenue in Buffalo, NY.  In 1975 they were closing down their headquarters and gave several boxes containing these papers to Monroe Fordham who promised to preserve them on microfilm.  The papers were given with the following note:

The Materials Obtained from:
ATTICA NOW Collective
1528 Jefferson
Buffalo, NY  14208

Materials produced through hard work of brothers and sisters struggling to see that the Attica Brothers and all oppressed peoples are freed, and that the real criminals (Rockefeller et.al.) be apprehended for their crimes.
