St. Joseph Cemetery
3806 Pine Avenue
Niagara Falls, NY
We cannot overemphasize the sacredness of a Catholic Cemetery and the respect due to the bodies of the faithful it contains. The fact that you may have loved ones buried in the cemetery, and continues to honor them is proof of your own feeling on this matter. Catholic teaching has always presented the human body as the temple of the Holy Spirit and, therefore, as an object of great reverence.
St. Joseph Cemetery can accommodate the wishes of your loved one’s or yours, in respectfully burying the deceased. We have several options available, such as the traditional in ground burial, full body entombment in one of our Mausoleums, or inurnment of remains in a Niche either in a mausoleum, or in our recently added columbarium outdoors, or in ground burial.
St. Joseph Cemetery gives you the opportunity to come pay your respect to a loved one by spending some time in one of our four mausoleums, or if you prefer just spending some time at the Bethesda Meditation Garden. Here you can spend time by the Bethesda Angel fountain in a peaceful and prayerful atmosphere.

*A note to researchers
The collection was scanned exactly how it is stored at the rectory. There are 3 files containing cemetery records. Each file is then organized alphabetically.
- The 1st file is compiled from the older sections of the cemetery.
- The 2nd is compiled of newer sections of the cemetery – this can be as early as the 1950’s. Researchers may have to look through the 1st & 2nd files if they are looking for a specific name and/or family.
- The 3rd file contains records for the mausoleums.
